Purapura Whetū Trust are seeking a fulltime permanent experienced and passionate Practice Lead to provide professional clinical leadership across our Pae Ora Service Cluster. Working in a co leadership model alongside the Pae Ora Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high quality whānau centred service delivery in a supportive Kaupapa Māori environment.
The Pae Ora Service Cluster includes a diverse range of wellbeing services, including He Puāwai Kai, Pae Ora Waitaha, Te Tumu Waiora, and Te Ara Tūhono. Initially, a key focus of this role will be leading the development and delivery of the He Puāwai Kai programme, supporting whānau to make sustainable lifestyle and nutrition changes that improve long-term health outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership, clinical oversight, workforce development, service innovation and community partnership building in a role that directly contributes to improving hauora outcomes for Māori and whānau throughout Waitaha and Te Tai Poutini.
About You
You are an experienced clinical leader with a passion for Māori health and achieving positive whānau outcomes. You'll bring:
- Registration as a New Zealand Health Professional with a current APC
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor's degree or higher).
- Demonstrated clinical experience, including leadership, supervision and workforce development.
- Experience working within Māori health, hauora or kaupapa Māori services.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
- Excellent relationship building, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori
- Knowledge of Te Ao Māori frameworks, models and approaches that support positive whānau outcomes.
